Happy Mother's Day to all

Happy Mother's Day to the blogging Neighborhood

Here's some quotes:;

James Russel Lowell--
The best Academy, is a Mother's knee.

Betty Davis --If you have never been
hated by your Child,
You have never been a parent.

Jewish proverb--God could not be everywhere
and therefore he made Mother's.

Chinese proverb-- There is only one beautiful baby
in the whole world, and every Mother has it.

Sophia Loren--A Mother has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.

Jewish Proverb-- A Mother understands what a Child does not say.

James Joyce --Whatever else is unsure in this stinking dunghill of a world, a Mother's LOVE is not.

HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY TO YOU ALL..
Have a wonderful day.

Lilac Time in Midcoast Maine

THIS IS MY FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR

EXCEPT FOR OCTOBER
Trouble with Wisteria??Just found out to cut roots back On the wisteria,

also add bone meal and fertilze early spring.

Lilac's and roses are my favorites. The whole town smells of lilac's. I ride with the window's down in the car they are all along the roads with the sea air and smell of lilacs it is wonderful.

I also have the white lilac's. I purchased a red 8 years ago 2 years later it bloomed and it was the same color as my English Lilac's. When buying off season caveat emptor . The tags can be wrong. I purchased an expensive red French Lilac. Of course they said Sorry.. Well I have nnever been back

You have to watch for mold up here in maine, and spiders. This is a plant you should have , it smells so great and just gets more beautiful every year..

Charles Joly red french below I thought I bought
3 years later it bloomed not this RED LILAC

Here are a few other Lilac's they look wonderful mixed. The hedges are beautiful.

I like the Moskvy Lilac , but I won't buy unless it is in bloom.

This week I have to go down the street there are loads of Englich Lilacs growing wild.. I always pick arm losds and put them everywhere.

Well I just got TAGED by Renee's "Tells all"
so it will be the tenth picture of one of my files on next post.. Ta Ta for now..

Vertical or Not, That is the question?

The Famous Patrick Blanc

Vertical Gardner a Frenchman,

isn't Paris Lucky?
This is absolutely Gorgeous

On the walls he used PVC supported by metal frames.

He uses sheets of poly amide felt soaked in a nutrient
solution, that flows down the wall by gravity. Excess water
is collected in a gutter and re-injected into system..

Born June 3 1953 Paris
Botanist at the French Natl. Centre of Scientific Research.

Some of his achievements are:
Science Museum, Paris
Chaumont-sur-Loire
Cartier Foundation
Aquarium Genoa,Italy
Perhsing Hall, Paris
French Embassy New Delhi
Australia, and on and on.

This makes the building so eco friendly,
don't you think ? Birds can nest in there..

Below is very interesting.
He uses so many different plants to create a design.
