I can hear the Lobster boats starting their engines about 5:30 Am.
Sometimes the sun is just coming up and the fog can be so heavy
it's not sea smoke just heavy fog.

That reminds me today 3 girlfriends came by and we all went looking for
SEA LAVENDER it is just about pasted. I couldn't go because of my foot
problem. They picked me a big bunch. Here's the photo of it.

They sink boats ,cut lobster traps
& fight and shoot.Busy Boys. LOL

If these guys say "want a piece of me"

Jamie Wyeth the Artist bought this light house, an lives in it.. Don't confuse it with Marshalls Point Lighthouse that is also in St.George.
only it's in Port Clyde.

The Wyeth's of Maine.

Three Generations of Artist's
This is the man who started it all N.C. Wyeth .

Born 1882 in Needham Mass. His Mother was a Swiss Immigrant.
He went to Art school in Boston, studied Drafting, His Prof. Richard Anderson urged him to become an Illustrator. He studied with Pape, Reed and Noyes. In 1902 he went to study with Howard Pyle school of Art.

Andrew Wyeth Died Jan. 2009.

No one can replace his art. It was a terrible loss to this world.

Andrew Wyeth married betsy Jones ,they had two sons Nicholas born 1943 and Jamie 1946 Nicholas is an Art Dealer. I'd say he had the background for it.

Christina's world. The house is in Cushing a village about 30 minutes away from me.

Christina Olson was 55 years old here.

Wyeth changed the lay of the land in the painting.

Christina was Paralyzed on her lower body.

There was a time in my life years ago, when I thought I wouldn't make it .
It was a very rough time. Thanks to the Painting " Christina's world "
that gave me the strength to over come my situation.

It was a hard climb up.

The house is on the Natl. Historic places.
