It Might as well be Spring!

Feb. 24th 2012

I have been singing this song all week.
It was 1945 in the movie State Fair
by Rodger and Hammerstein.

It won the academy award.
I love Rosemary Clooney rendition
Best of all Ella Fitzgeralds singing this song.

Run out and buy seeds.
Spring is just around the corner.

Excellent post to wait for spring with pretty pictures. I love Ella Fitzgerald a legend of jazz. Greetings.

Oh, I remember my mom singing that song when I was young. She is a big Rosemary Clooney fan. I'm SO glad it's almost spring! Now you have that song stuck in my head, too! :-)

So pretty Yvonne! When are you coming to NYC? I am so far behind in e-mails since returning from Australia. My Mom has been needing quite a bit if help lately and I'm still waiting for my grandson to be born.
