I have been working in the front of the yard. Today I saw so many Bikers. It's the Lobster Ride. Two weeks ago I had a show while weeding the flowers by the road. It was all the Antique cars. Everyone waved at me. They were all dressed up in Antique dresses and Hats. It was a sight to see.
This is beautiful Rockport Harbor, my favorite spot.
This weekend is a mad house in Camden Maine. The Tall ships and wind Jammers are here and the Fairs are going on besides The Festivals.
They also have the Lobster trap walk.Just below the waterfall they line up the traps and kids try to walk them. So many fall in the water, it's fun to watch. The kids all try because the Prize is big money.
This is a land mark Cappy's
Wishing you all a fabulous Labor Day weekend. Yvonne

Any tips on how to stay out of the nursing home. I plan to stay in a nice hotel for the same price per day. No kidding. They charge more than the Ritz.
I thought this was so funny.
Doctors, today you have to investagate it all.
Be happy have a drug free day...
I take meloxicam for my Arthritis and I am having weird dreams with the chantrix. I wake up choking with the feeling of cotton in the back of my throat. I can't swallow. so I quit them both Friday.
I am really worried about the drugs today.
The side effects are terrible.

Yvonne started painting and drawing in High School in Houston Texas. She earned extra money drawing insects in science class for classmates. After her marriage she moved to Miami Beach, while living on Palm Island she continued her education in art, and Design. Also studied with notable artist from the area. Yvonne was painted by friend Florence Taylor Kushner, from Boston and in women's Who's Who. Florence painted many famous families. Yvonne was lucky enough to receive private tutoring from her. In the 1970's she went to Interior Design School . Years later she started her own Interior Design firm named 'Chez Moi Interior's. Yvonne continued painting and showing her work at Beau Arts in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Also she exhibited her work in North Carolina, the Florida Keys, and at the Childers Art Gallery on Las Olas Blvd (Ft. Lauderdale). Yvonne won the prestigious 'Hortt Art Competition Award' at the Museum of Ft.Lauderdale, Florida. This work of art remained on display for several months at the Museum. Over the years Yvonne has entered many competitions winning countless blue ribbons. A trip to Paris, and a stay in Monmarte where she spent time with a few choice artist's changed her views toward her own art work. Art is truly an expression of experience and love to her. She likes her work to show a moment in time or tell a story. To know more about Yvonne Leyden
