Let's visit Maine Lighthouses

MAINE LIGHT HOUSES

I'd like to take you

for a ride up the

coast of Maine..
We have so many old lighthouses
with such history.
Hop in the wagon,
we are off for a heck of a ride.
As you know the coast of Maine is
Like no other coast. Thousand of little
fingers, each a treasure of it's own,
You can explore this coast your whole life
and never cover it all.
Fasten the belts, it's a long ride..

Perfumes

I saw this movie, it was something wicked..
After that I got the idea to do this post.
It was a very weird movie. Not for the faint of heart.
It starts out telling about a boy in the 1800's in Paris,
so it was interesting. Then weird.....

I just ordered a bottle of this haven't worn it for years.
I like Bellodgia better. It's by Jean Desprez.

This JOY has been my favorite when I could afford it.
It's been around from 1929.

I wore Bellodgia for many years. My Mom wore it also.
By Caron

Guertain has been around from 1829

If you wish you can have them make your own perfume.
It takes 6 months to a year , After that no one may buy
it , they will keep it in stock for only you. COST about $36.000
Let's all run out and do it. Only Kidding..
I have alot more to do with my money..

Imperial Majesty, which costs $215,000 a bottle, is the most expensive perfume in the world. Would it smell as sweet at any other price?
Actually, yes. Imperial Majesty is a limited edition of a Clive Christian signature scent. Sold simply as No. 1, the fragrance is priced at $2,150 an ounce. But the reason Imperial Majesty costs so much is that Christian, a British designer-turned-perfumer, poured 16.9 ounces of No. 1 into a Baccarat crystal bottle, stuck a five-carat diamond into the 18-carat gold collar and unveiled it at Harrods in London and Bergdorf Goodman in New York City this past holiday season.
Of the five bottles released for sale (the others were kept for Christian's archives), three have sold.

Molinard made the Violetta perfume in 1860 in Baccarat bottles.

Thanks

This Norman Rockwell says it all.
The American Family.
We all have days when we think'we have it tough.
Just think how lucky we really are.
I want to Thank all our Service men today
for letting us have this Thanksgiving at a
family table with our own religion and freedom.

Wishing you all a wonderful
THANKSGIVING

Our troops having their Thanksgiving.
A far cry from Home.
It just does not have the look of the table
at home with family.

In Maine there are groups of Vet's and their family's and
neighbor's that try to greet all the planes arriving at
the Bangor Airport with our Military forces coming home.

May you all be with your loved ones on Thanksgiving Day.

Have a beautiful Turkey and a wonderful Holiday.
