I hate Cruise Ships

I have taken Three Cruises. I am not a cruise Person.
Being on board, I become claustrophobic. I have been
sea sick. The food is in abundance, tons of cheap
food. The elegance is gone. My so called prime rib
looked like a 1 oz skirt steak. I walked my self to death.
The nurse was as helpless as asking a 6 year old for help Duh!

Who needs this, we didn't see the places we were suppose to stop at. Capt, said had to bypass it. We just slowed down and killed a day.

There have been a few problems in the last few years.
2011 In the Mediterranean Sea 200 aboard, 150 missing.

MTS Oceans -had a hole in bulkhead, sunk
Capt. never even went below to check.
The Capt was also first to leave ship.

Then there was the Moscow cruse ship
on Volga river 200 on board 100 missing..

Costa Concordia capt. 6 dead so far..

That was horrible, all the news about the ships sinking. I've been on three cruises and had a great time on all three.

I've never been on a cruise, but have always wanted to do the trans-atlantic crossing (New York to Southampton) on a Cunard ocean liner.

After seeing this latest incident, I'm starting to wonder if a cruise is such a good idea.

I went to Mexico via My hometown of Long Beach...I loved it but 3 nights was enough...I did get quezey..we were able to see land for most of the time so I was ok.
The day we got back, the swine flu hit Mexico and that boat didn’t sail for a long, long time. I thought the main meals were delicious, gourmet almost, but then again I don’t do alot of “fine Dining”...
I do hope all is well with you...Take care of yourself and have a wonderful 2012...

I would go everywhere by land transportation if it were possible, as I get seasick on ships and worried on planes.

My first time on the cruise ship was terrible, but my second time was fine since we stayed in a room with a deck.

I agree with you about the food, even in the fine dinning room. Not gourmet at all..

Shame on the captain for abandoned his ship!
