They invite more beatles by releasing a chemical.

you need to look for
sprays with carbaryl, acephate,
and permellrin on the label.

Some use insectide soaps, didn't work for me.
Neem - based pesticide.

The bag isn't working.

I use sevin every spring.

Good Morning My Precious Yvonne...
Hi sweetie. No beetles here in the desert that I know of. I think that it is to darn hot for them. Have you checked with a local horticulturist club? Surely they could help out. They are bound to know of something. I think I would try that avenue and see where it takes you.
I am so thrilled that you are still moving forward with your hip. I have truly prayed for you dear one. Each day will get better and little baby steps along the way.
I hope to get your box mailed off to you this next week. I have been so busy with work I am totally behind in everything. When I go in of a morning it is dark, when I get home it is dark. Just a few more months, and all should pay off on this project. I promise to try and get your beauty out to you sweet friend.
Have a glorious weekend. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry
I don't like to use pesticides on vegetables, but I don't mind using them on ornamental flowers such as roses. Aphids seem to like to munch on my roses :( I've also had a problem with slugs this summer as it was so wet this spring.
I try to examine my veggies and pick off any beetles I see. I also make a red pepper infusion and spray them, which seems to help keep squirrels away.
Have a good weekend, Yvonne!
Sorry to hear about the beetles Yvonne. I had a few last year, but they were not that bad.
Squirrels seem to be more of the problem for me.
Take it easy and have a great weekend!
OH MAN!!!!

love you xox
