IF

IF I hit the lottery.
I should be so lucky.
 This I'd get for a
 green house. No pool.

Things, material stuff, they only fill you for the moment. They are not so important anymore. God teaches us in strange ways.

This reminds me of my
house in Florida, we had a pool.
My Daughter swam every day
after school. She made the swim
 team in Miami Beach.

 If I hit the lotto,
Money for a nice ice skating ring
in downtown with a Gazebo for music. Then the Kids could skate for free.
It would be a nice sight driving through the town.
The Summer the school band could play at night and people could dance.
Now that is money well spent.

Thinking of all I lost in the fire during Hurricane Andrew.
I had an Antique shop and had closed it and everything was in the house
when it burnt down. Nothing was left.
The baby grand was gone and just an iron harp
lay in the ashes. My whole insides just left my body. I was in shock.
Look on the bright side I had taken my Mother to a lady who would
care for her for 5 days, left for Camden Maine to go fishing.
That morning at 5 AM we got a call from Ft. Lauderdale,
the house caught fire from an electric wire off the power pole.
God was there, I had canceled the trip because the hurricane
was coming, then the news said it wouldn't hit us. We would never
have gotten out of the house. Mom had Alzheimer's and I had
dead bolts on the doors.  Tomorrow the Sun will rise and all
will be in the past. Just get busy surviving.
Love to you all and remember, don't sweat the small stuff.
My Mom used to say, "I cried because I had no shoes, until
I met the man with no feet." Think about that.

This poor America

Is it true that the do
nothing Congress
is asking for
 a Raise in Pay?

The  salary for a member of Congress
is $174,000 a year.
That's not enough? For sleeping in congress and playing with the
cell phone, and not even showing up.

I have to get his book.
This is John R MacArthur
President  of Harper's Magazine.
He is very interesting and I learned a lot.
 Thanks to Bill Moyers Show.

I think that once they get a taste of the
HIGH life, they lose all perspective
of why  they ran, and some of them
only ran for the Big Bucks to begin with.
I am thinking very differently about the
Clinton's now.,

They have stolen our country,  sucking up to
wall Street and selling America out to Foreign Trade.
They and their families will retire in absolute
Luxury, and believe me with out a drop of GUILT.
The people that vote them in,
they make fun of and call us all stupid.
That we are.
There is a secret congress, they also use as much
double talk as they can get away with.
That's the trouble no one calls them on it.
The New Generation should get a group
together and use the vaudeville hook and yank
them out of there,
just give them a short term to prove they
are for the country.
If they don't produce fire them.
Douglas MacArthur 1964 Said ,
In war there is no substitute for Victory”
but he was also the man who
set the foundations for a non aggressive,
 economically successful and
democratically stable Japan.
It even comes in a paperback,
just the right size for a golf bag pocket…

Come on, what's your opinion,

This is America, we have free speech ya know.
