The West Bay Rotary annual Duck Derby
in Camden Harbor - watch as 3,500 rubber duckies 
are plunged into the Megunticook River on a mad cap journey
 culminating in a daredevil plunge over the falls to the harbor!

The Moving Wall. May 26 – May 30, Half-scale 
replica of Maya Lin’s original design of the
Vietnam Wall for the National Mall in Washington, D.C., 
exhibited on the grounds

Farnsworth Museum - Lecture on the Olson House
 by Chief Curator Michael K. Komenecky. Entitled 
What's historic about the Olson House after all, 
the lecture will take place in the museum's auditorium at 1 p.m.

Memorial Day Parades  Rockland
10:30am – Parade starts at Boston Financial parking lot and heads north on Main Street to Dunkin’ Donuts.

St George 9:00am – Parade starts at Tenants Harbor 
Baptist Church and proceeds to the American Legion Hall.

Camden Opera House - The Down East Singers, 
Mozart Mentors Orchestra, and four professional
soloists will combine forces on Monday, May 30, 
at 5 p.m. at the Camden Opera House to perform
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Requiem and Ave Verum Corpus, 
directed by Cushing resident, Anthony Antolini. 
Cost: $20; free younger than 18. Advance tickets at Grasshopper 
Shop, Rocklamd; Owl & Turtle Bookshop, Camden; at
downeastsingers.org; by calling 619-0413; or at the box 
office beginning 4 p.m. day of concert (if available).
