How About Spring cleaning

Spring Cleaning , I hate to clean on a Sunny Day.
I want to be out doors, but it's too cold to garden.
That's in May and the last of April.
So I am looking forward to our trip to NYC .

Been singing "Hello Young Lover" from The King and I. Just love that song.. Do you ever get a song in your head and it just stays there.

Meantime there are good signs of Spring the daffodil's are peeking through and the fox has babies, the birds are coming back and pussy willows are here.

Besides cleaning the house there is so much clean up in the yard. (SNOWPLOW)
It's every year he tears up the grass beside the drive way, and he charges to do it. One step forward and two backwards.

I can't seem to get ahead. It's like spending two hours cleaning the refrigerator, and then spilling the milk in it.

Maybe I should go back to bed. My orchids are blooming and I am going out and cut some forysthia to bring

in and force them to bloom.

I'd say this was the longest winter ever. It is snowing again and the yard and woods are all white again. Enough!!

I am glad I didn't leave for a few weeks. Last month the boiler system went off. I have radiant heat in the slab

and if the pipes had frozen it would have been a disaster. Think about that before you ever have it done. The floors are warm, BUT??????

Back to reality----Cleaning

Lets not forget the woodwork and the refrigerator again.

Tablecloths,linnens, dust ruffles, Summer

shirts and linnen slacks, curtians.

All waiting in the ironing basket..

Well Ladies,

I will say Ta Ta for now.

My carriage

awaits me

for the ironing.

Have a swell

cleaning day..

The Ripper still unsolved

Speaking of Hansom Cabs:

Jack the Ripper, murders were from 1888-1891 He was also called the Leather Apron. These Murders which were Horrid have never been solved.

Why? with all the DNA today Hello Scotland Yard

After all these years still unsolved, I love a good murder story and this one

has me Baffled that they can't find the RIPPER.

Oh well, they can't find osama bin laden either.

I think it is a cover up

There are over 100 Theories and a ton of Ripperologests.

The Doctor had a very special Hansom Cab or Coach
It had an Insignia on it an was seen in the mews on

several nights of the murders. He was important enough
that he would not be questioned, after all he was the
Queens physician.

The five women were Polly Nickols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catharine Eddowes, Mary Jane Kelly and maybe a pior victim Martha Tabram.

They was said they were cut ear to ear , disembowel them, remove the heart and vital organs. One had her tounge cut out. The mutilations were done with a surgeons tools. When a policeman arrived at the scene, there was (juwes) scratched on the wall. I think it was to throw the blame on the Butcher down the street who wore a leather apron, he was Jewish. It could have been some nut that worked on the cattle boats. Then again they wouldn't have surgical tools.

There were Three Letters to the Inspector, and one post card.

#1 Dear Boss -letter

#2 Open Shaw -letter

#3 The Hell Letter

#4The Saucy Jacki Post card (stolen from police)
