This isn't my tree but you can imagine
the bloody mess on the carpet with broken bulbs.

The Snowplows are everywhere and you can feel the
exictmentment in the cold air. Santa's on his way.
Merry Christmas to all

Wow I love all the snow! It must be Christmastime! Wishing you luck with the tree, Yvonne!
Oh Yvonne,
The harbour and high street look beautiful. Hope that you have some sort of tree !!
Is Renée coming for Christmas ? XXXX
Have fun in Boston! Having moved from Chicago to Texas 2.5 years ago, I can tell you that I don't miss all that snow, but it does look pretty.
I have never had a real Christmas tree (other than a couple of miniature trees) - I like having a pre-lit fake one - it makes getting organized for Christmas so much easier!
Thank-you for the Camden Christmas pics ~ they make my heart sing!! Someday . . . .
Yvonne I am amazed that you got that tree up!! I have seen so many cute (not for the owner) pics of cats in the Christmas trees!!
Do come and enter my 12 Days of Holiday Giveaways, many are sponsored by our blog friends!!

Well congrats I know its not always the glamorous feat the press and magazines make it out to be!! We just got ours yesterday and will start to decorate, fingers crossed today!! Better late than never.....lovely pictures and Camden is quite beautiful...love that downtown shot!
Love seeing the pics of snow and ice from my 'southern' advantage. Ice skates are a rarity in this part of the country.
Yvonne: Is Moose Head lake up near Rangely? I used to go there 100 years ago. It was a great old camp that sadly burned. Merry Christmas!! I pay $40.00 to have my 10 foot tree put up. I think its a bargain!!
Best,
Liz
Oh Yvonne,
You are bringing back memories to me speaking of THE NORTH END AND CONTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then the train to Boston; I lived in Beverly and we would go up to Boston almost every Sunday. And Maine, what a great place for us in the summer. Thank you dearest for visiting me today and for your kind words. Yes, I want to make magic happen.
Peace. Anita
I'm so sorry that you had a problem with your Christmas tree, Yvonne. My tree fell over one year It wasn't a pretty sight to come home to and I lost a few favorite ornaments. My carpet was soaked from the tree water too. I pulled it up again and went on as if nothing happened...I still love real trees the best.
I'll visit renee's new blog next click.
Have a wonderful holiday and enjoy your train ride to Boston!
My daughter's tree fell over yesterday with a life-time of collected ornaments. It is only a tree, but the loss of so many memories is a bit sad.

Snow and ice are beautiful sights especially with people practicing winter sports: skiing and skating.
I live in a warm climate country where snow is a rarity. I rather like it this way. For me quality of life is sunny, clear weather with moderate temperatures which enables me to daily enjoy the outdoors and feel at one with nature.
Have a wonderful trip to Boston!
Sounds like fun plans in Boston, Yvonne! Have a great weekend. xo
Glad the tree is up, hope you're having some time to just sit and enjoy it. Have a great time in Boston and thanks for the good wishes!
I hope the tree is still standing Yvonne! Have a wonderful holiday, enjoy the train trip and I wish you a happy, happy Christmas.... xv
PS Stick with the fresh tree... it's gorgeous! xv
Oh Yvonne, HAVE A GREAT TIME!!! And tell your Beverly friend that I lived on IVES ST. in the corner brick apartment building! Oh how I loved living across from Beverly Cove beach! ENJOY that Italian food...oh goodness, what great meals did I devour while being there. Good thing we would walk from the Back Bay to the North End to burn the calories of the foccacia I would eat!
MERRY CHRISTMAS! Anita
Wish I was going to Boston with you, Yvonne!!
Have the Merriest of Christmases, my dear friend.
And watch out for those falling Christmas trees!! :)
there is no doubt about it....
every holiday is an adventure with you!!
i wish i were there
&
going to boston.
i would love to put those skates on too.
i love you
