March How many do you remember?

If it's months
74 for me .
If it's people
here are a few.

March wind is a jolly fellow;
He likes to joke and play.
He turns umbrellas inside out
And blows men's hats away.
He calls the pussy willows
And whispers in each ear,
"Wake up you lazy little seeds,
Don't you know that spring is here.

I can still remember the scandal that
the Game shows were fixed, Garry Moore,
Bill Leyden and Art Fleming and Hal March.
Their careers were lost as Emcee's.

There was Jo, Beth, Amy and Meg March
And Ima said remember the March Hare..

Zicam BEWARE

Another Screw-up
I am finding so much
incompetence
in so many fields.
Is everyone on drugs?
Are Aliens running
the country??

I would beware of everything.
There are so many mistakes going on.
Employee's have no pride in doing the job right,
taking an extra minute. It's watch the clock
and get out of here ASAP.
No one takes the job serious anymore.

I am sharing this true story
READ IT WELL
I read this on the internet::
Zicam can affect your Olfactory nerve.
I went online, typed in "Zicam side effects"
and bam - up popped all sorts of web sites
with people reporting the same thing I experienced.
It seems that this past June, Zicam pulled the swabs
for adults and children off the shelf but not the nasal gel.
I went to my ENT and he said
the Zicam had basically "FRIED" my Olfactory nerve
and the results are most likely permanent .
He put me on a strong dose of a steroid called Prednisone
in hopes of recovering ANY bit of the nerve damage
he told me to "take this and pray."
He said he had read about the side effects of Zicam
and couldn't believe it is still on the shelf.
It isn't FDA approved. I am taking the Prednisone
and praying but nothing is happening.
I LITERALLY CANNOT SMELL OR TASTE ANYTHING!
I can tell if foods are hot or cold
I can tell the consistency and I can faintly detect if it is
salty but that is it. PLEASE, PLEASE,
PLEASE pass this on to everyone you care about.
I don't want this to happen to ANYONE else!!!!
and if you have Zicam in your medicine cabinet-
THROW IT AWAY! Please share with everyone you can.
The link below confirms.
If you don’t have a browser for the internet…
this is only the fda/government confirmation!Click here:

It won the academy award.
I love Rosemary Clooney rendition
Best of all Ella Fitzgeralds singing this song.

Dining out isn't like it was.

My friend and I
have had this
happen before.
Believe me once
was enough.

This girl came to our table
handed the menu's.
She began to talk, I looked up in shock.
It was awful, it was sicking.
She had 2 piercings in her bottom lip,
3 in her tongue, one on her nose,
one on her eyebrow and like six on her ear.
I said to my friend, Let's leave
I just lost my appetite

This is not the Tribe law here .

This is a woman from
the Mursi Tribe.
They live isolated from
the civilized world
This is her bottom lip.

I couldn't dine here I'd be sea-sick,
like on a CRUSE

Time is of the essence

Time goes by so fast.
There is just not enough
time to do everything ,
including winding my 2
remaining clocks.
Caught my plants before
sure death yesterday.
That took amout 45 min.
to fertilize and water.

My Mama used to quote some of this.
There is a time to be born,
and a time to die.
A time to plant and pluck up what was planted.
A time to heal; a time to break down.
A time to Build up.
A time to weep and time to laugh.
A time to mourn and time to dance.

Lost in my fire

lost in fire of house

I lost this in the fire it chimed..

Mitzi , my dear teacher
in design used to have
the French Morbier
weight hung wall clock.
I loved her
Marley Horses she had
on the sideboard.
She has high style.

Here are wall clocks. Want a tip for a beginner ?
Always look for Three holes on the face of the clock.
CHIMES!!

I have been dreaming of two things a table base
with elephant tusks base.
the other a grandfather clock.
Here's some to look at.

Grandfather Clocks have been in existence for hundreds of years, standing tall as one of history's most distinctive heirloom pieces of furniture. The fine craftsmanship and the decor that they provide to a home have been renowned across the globe.
Galileo Galilei is given credit for discovering, in 1582, that the pendulum was an instrument that would record time. The pendulum (the long swinging weight inside the wooden case) is what keeps a grandfather clock's time regular.
The man said to be responsible for inventing the first grandfather clock after the discovery of the pendulum was the celebrated Dutch astronomer and physicist Christian Huygens who developed a pendulum style floor clock around 1657. Huygens' clock was described as keeping a 'more even' time than any known clock of its day.
In 1670, William Clement discovered that clocks work more accurately with a longer pendulum, and so the "long case clock" was created. It stood about six-feet tall in a well-crafted wooden case, with an enclosed pendulum and weights. Over the years clockmakers enhanced the craftsmanship of the wooden case and added chimes.
Long case clocks (later called grandfather clocks) were very exclusive to nobility, as their complexity made them very expensive. Eventually their construction became more cost effective, and in the 1880s, England and America began calling them "grandfather clocks." The name became popular because of the song written by the American Henry Work in 1875 called "The Grandfather's Clock."
Today grandfather clocks are a great symbol of time and antiquity, acting as family heirlooms and museum quality relics.

NOW I THINK IT"S TIME TO GET A GRANDFATHER CLOCK,
Where will I put it? Hummmmmmm

BYE BYE clock. First a new hot water tank...
