Yard Birds

SUMMER IS HERE IN BEAUTIFUL MAINE

GODS BEAUTIFUL CREATURES *** These guys are in my yard

These little Nuthatchers are everywhere ,

they creep up and down the trees *************** EASTERN BLUE BIRD they like blue-- bird houses

The blue bird is just gorgeous, and of course Robins.

Have you ever asked questions like - what is that bluebird called ?
Answer- a blue bird -- or a red bird after a while you can get intimidated or feel pretty dumb. So I got my book.
Tuffted Titmouse seldom seen

Goldfinch they are my favorite we have lots of
of them. They love that black thistle.
and the sound of water.

Mourning dove cooo all morning
The Cedar waxwing is rarely seen he eats

Mountain ash tree berries. Beautiful bird yellowish

This red Throat Grosbeck comes once in a while, I loose it when he comes

There is an evening Grosbeck
Looks just like a goldfinch only bigger,
I made a comment like, wow that must be a great grandfather
goldfinch he is really big..
Later I found out it was a Grosbeck (Yes pretty dumb)

This is the Maine state bird

Ravens 2 ft.in size

There is also a snow white bunny in the woods.

Turkey's in the yard. They are 3 and a half
feet tall. Really big birds

Coopers Hawk

in the Bay on the rock islands
