It's Fair Time in Maine

This is a Belted Galloway. . They come from Scotland and we have a very

famous farm called near Camden on the ocean.
All year round people are parked on the street
taking photographs of them.

The Fair's are such a big thing in Maine.

I think I may have gone to one in Houston, none in Florida.

Up here in Midcoast Maine things are bustling they are

getting ready for the FAIR"S.
You wouldn't believe how big a business it is here in Maine.

We had a 113 acre Farm and raised horses and Beltie cows.

The caretaker had a son who entered our

Bull one year and that is when I went nuts for the

beautiful chickens. After two fairs I finally got to

buy some Prize chickens. That lasted a year and a half.

Some People like Moxie, I don't.

Because of all the rain the apple trees are loaded this year.

Maine has apple tree's that date back over a 100 years.

Watching the Pie eating contest is such fun, the kids are adorible.

Hope I get a certain recipe for blueberry pie.

I didn't enter any this year at The Lobster Fest or the fairs.

Not feeling very well with this foot problem.

My friend and her Husband do at lot at the Winsor Fair.

Take the Children and go to a country fair this summer. You won't be bored.
