A Niche here a Niche there

These go back to 800 BC . Then they really
started being used by architects in 1385
I saw so many out doors in Italy, in gardens.
They are lovely. What do you think???
They found many when they started unearthing
some English homes dating way back to Roman times.
Some old Victorian homes in the states had them
and people walled over them.

I think they add charm to

a room or hall.

You could also do a mural.

I'd like one built into a rock wall on a patio
with a water fountain in it.

These were used in the older homes.
They seem to be using them more now.
