At 74 this is my only companion.
Never does he leave my side. During My Chemo and Radiation he waited at the door I left at 6:30 Am to drive 2 -half hours to Scarborough Maine, 5 days a week. Got home at 6 Pm. Thor would run and drink his water, the minute I came in. That was a rough winter.
Thor never went potty in the house. Is he spoiled ??YOU BET! I jump to his commands. I have had this dog for fifteen years, he is the best Dog I ever had. He is almost human. He is 60 pounds and I say get in the shower he does. He even waits for me to dry him off before he comes into the Kitchen if it rains. We know each other's every thought. He is failing and I will miss him. I think my life will be VERY empty. This house will be a dismal, desolate and grievous house. He really fills a roomand the house will be so empty with out my fella.
His eyes are sooo blue ..When my Husband passed away Thor lost 15 pounds. A year after my husband died, we pulled his 4 wheeler out to sell it. Thor sat beside it all day long and I had to drag him into the house. I cried the rest of the night while hugging this loving dog. God has been good to me to have a friend so loyal. He seems fine today, we take it day by day.
