Take a pill before, just incase.
If you come to MID-Coast Maine you can take the Ferry
at Damariscotta or Port Clyde
The latter of the two is a longer ride.
When My Daughter said she was going to
take the boat at Damariscotta, I said why,
when Port Clyde is just down the road.
It was the Group's plan. Shut my mouth..
Yep, a few got sick.
Some of America's greatest Painters have stayed on Monhegan
Island of the coast of Maine.
The Artists Colony started about 1890 some were:
Wm. Henry Singer-George Bellows
Martin Borgard----Edward Hooper
Rockwell Kent---- Andrew Wyeth and Nc Wyeth
Robert Henri-- many more.
You see Seals
They come right up to you..How can you not love that face.
Also Puffin's, they are endangered.
I am guessing
about only 67
residents live there.
Painting by Alice Boynton of Monhegan Island.
Check out Renee's post she has lots of info.
