"Zing went the
strings of my heart."
614 men and women
including four inmates
under federal death sentences
1953, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg
were executed in the death house
using "Old Sparky",
the electric chair at Sing Sing.
I don't think this would be on my vacation sight seeing.
Its located in Ossining, NY. People used to pronounce it
Osingsing, NY. You also have to sing in there a lot and
I mean A LOT! Ossining's former name, "Sing Sing,"
was derived from the name of a Native American tribe,
"Sinck Sinck" from whom the land was purchased in 1685.
I don't know much about prisons,
we have one in Thomaston, Maine.
They say Bad Boys all want to come to
that prison. They are treated better than
Senior Citizens, free health, dental, and free school. They also can sell any art work and be making money and pay no electric, or rent.
Maybe I should book a room. --Haha
Today Sing Sing houses more than 2,000 inmates,
with about 1,000 people working there.
one hell of a swim.
