Crazy Politics- here's a chuckle
My Favorite Presidents, were
Woodrow Wilson, Franklin D.
Roosevelt, I LOVED JFK.
I didn't care for Truman
the same goes for LBJ.
Carter tried his best.I liked him.
Where will we be in 2018 ??
My parents brought me up
telling me America is a country
for all. Why do Republicans
hate so much?.
Years ago, there were Great
Republicans, like Teddy Roosevelt Goldwater, Eisenhower to name a few.
I was taught, if you can't say anything
nice, don't say anything.
In my day we had respect
for the President. Then came Nixon.
Going back even to John Q.Adams did
a no-no in my eyes, Adams signed a tariff
bill into law - called the
"Tariff of Abominations"
which protected American manufacturers
but raised the prices on many goods.
2016 the cost of things are out of control.
This week I will be watching All the news channels. CBS-_NBC-_PBS_-ABC
God help us now.

ReplyDeletea profile I can not enter. Thanks for the comment Linda, hope I can comment on your Blog. yvonne
Yes, GOD help us. I feel like we are in a nightmare, a MOVIE, because this fiasco seems staged and sensationalized. It's not about the people anymore since the idea was first conceived. The "show" became all about the ones in control, and now, we are all in this REALITY SHOW with the master of reality shows at the helm. I also think we are in a fable: THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES. I think someone honest IN HIS PARTY needs to yell out, "LOOK, THE EMPEROR'S GOT NOT CLOTHES!" to reveal that there is no logical substance. Ooops, I better stop here.
ReplyDeletei don't care for many republicans because of why they are republicans. the party speaks for itself and i will leave it at that.
ReplyDeleteI feel that if the founders of our country came back and saw either party, they would start a new one. I prefer George Washington as it was a learning experience also it would be nice to watch a news program where they do not put their on spin on the facts and pull out what they want us to know but on their terms. We need to look at the facts and not go all democrat or republican on each other. People lie but facts do not. I suggest people ask themselves the following: Are you better off than you were 8 years ago? Do the people you know have a good job? Does your insurance cost more but covers less? Our racial issues are worse than they were in the 60's and that is a fact. I guess I feel too many folks get emotional without knowing the facts. Read things yourself, watch the conventions yourself and then try and make an informed decision.Be informed! Now that would be real Kitty Justice. Peace be with you.
ReplyDeleteYvonne: sometimes people set up a profile without a blog so they can make comments on other people blogs. I suspect that is what Causer659 is doing.
ReplyDeleteDitto to "Castles Crowns and Cottages" I keep thinking of that crazy movie from 1963 "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World"
Somewhere along the line we have gotten off the path and headed down to a very UN-healthy state of affairs, for our country and it's people.
We need to revise our values, and set aside our differences, have more compassion for the plight of so many who are suffering, including, the animal kingdom. We need to stop looking to a defunct government to help the people but get back to grassroots efforts starting in our towns, communities, state, and country.
Just musing...
