I have to say that SHE is my favorite. I saw here on a talk show years ago, and a young aspiring actress from the audience asked her, "How do you prepare for a role?" Streep replied, "Pay attention. Observe." Now that is what everyone should be doing!

Meryl Streep is a versatile actress. Her accent adaptation to certain roles is incredible.

I love Meryl Streep... I loved her with Alec Baldwin. Steve Martin in the movie " It's Complicated "

I would say she is a favorite of mine as well, and so many others for many reasons.
I also like Diane Lane, in, Under The Tuscan Sun...Jane Fonda is very good in the Net flex movie Frankie and Grace.
There are so many strong women in acting for various reasons.
