I love every movie he made, but I don't see one in particular here in which I WAS AN EXTRA! 1942 was the name of it....and it's a Spielberg movie, I remember that!
ReplyDeleteYou are right Yvonne; it's hard to find a good movie these days. The GOOD ones are overlooked because of the blockbuster, money making films. We can always go back to our favorites, which is what we do!
No doubt,Spielberg is a big multi-talent and a very... rich man. However, the talent of certain film makers and movie stars doesn't justify the enormous sums of money they earn. These people (Spielberg, Streep etc..)should be more sensitive to the gaps in the society they live in when they buy islands and private jets. They should also learn to be aware of the concept "charity begins at home"(Angelina adopting children in Africa; aren't there any children in America available for adoption?).
ReplyDeleteI agree a man for the movies. Does great work and I am glad for him he is rich.
ReplyDeleteI agree . . . he creates "movie artistry" . . .
ReplyDeleteHe certainly has become rich in his creating . . .
I think Spielberg's goal though has been the art, not the money . . .
Have seen most of his movies and enjoyed the ones I have seen. Spielberg is a "brand" into himself.
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that he is rich and well paid, but us Americans over compensate and pay to much too certain industries. I like Duta's comment above..
Hi Yvonne, yes he is a great movie maker and incredible talent. Movies have changed through the years.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to see more movies like those made I before my time. Haha. I love the old movies and real movie stars.
Have a great week and happy summer. xo
