a month ago I thought I transplanted some fox glove seedlings. as it started to shoot
several branches, I knew it was not Foxglove. I started to pull it up as a weed and decided to wait and see. Well, a week ago it got lots
of weird buds yellow. I waited and yesterday a purple flower came to life. Today a white flower, different bell shaped. They all have foxglove leaves only heave veins
I am hoping some of you Gardner's might know the name.
It must have been dropped by a Fairy
well I just can't find this on the internet.

It seems to belong to the lily family, but I can't name it. Never mind the name, enjoy its beauty!
ReplyDeleteDo not know but enjoy as it is my favorite color. As for Brazil, I am in the same mind as you. Pray for the players to make it home without getting sick. I know they have trained for this time but if you come down with a horrible illness is it worth it. Peace

But my guess is Bellflower (Campanula), with a genus name based on the Latin word for bell, “campana,” epitomizes its name. Most bellflowers are perennials, though some species are biennials or annuals. The blue, white, pink or lavender flowers rise on stalks from 6 inches to 2 feet tall, on either upright or mounding shapes enjoy they are a beautiful flower one of my favorites - small medium and large
