The 4th of July we made it to Jupiter.
So Why are we looking for another Planet?
Maybe there is something
they aren't telling me?
There is nothing as beautiful as our Earth,
so why don't we cherish it? I wouldn't
want to live anywhere else.
Jupiter is just a huge planet with awful winds
and gas. Not like Mars at all. I guess we just spent
a lot of money, to find out how the 5th planet
from the sun was made.
Launched in August 2011, at last it made it.
Giant planets of our Solar System tell us about the formation
of solar systems, our Earth, and the conditions necessary for life.
maybe we will find the answer of whether there is LIFE out there.
The name Juno sounds like mischief,
hope we don't get into any.

I am with you. I wish we'd spend billions to help feed and house the poor of the EARTH. I know that science is important, and that by learning about our universe we, well, LEARN a lot.....yeah.....right. What we haven't learned yet however, is how to treat each other right, make things FAIR in society and stop making war.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the point of going outside of our atmosphere? If we found out a way to inhabit another planet, we'd just use up all its resources and make another war planet. Yes Yvonne, we understand each other!
Who's looking...? It's the scientists that go beyond reality, but they are a mere fraction of the population. We, the majority, are with our feet on the Earth and wish to make the best of it.
ReplyDeleteIf only we wouldn't have angered God by grossly violating the world order as he has created it! But we had, and our prospects on the Earth don't seem good at all; the climate is going crazy, Africa's invading Europe, nuclear power capability is spreading. Nothing good could come out of all this. Our only chance is to go back to our values, and stop "playing God". Otherwise, God will reset the Earth world which means, first eliminating the existing world.
Great post to give us something to think about. I know science is important but yes, why are we looking for another planet?? Seems we need to fix so much right here on earth with that money.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend xo
