do you know
that begged for funds
to run and were
just plain average guys?
When they get in,
they forget the people
that put them there,
make deals for themselves
while suppose to be working.

I am Praying for the USA.

Congress doesn't bother with this Zika virus, They are on Vacation.
Soo== how do they become Billionaires?
Members of Congress are way wealthier
than average Americans.
For the second year in a row,
Representative Darrell tops the lot
with a net worth of $357.25 million,
largely the result of his spectacular success
at manufacturing car alarms.
Issa’s wealth is triple that of second-placed
Michael McCaul ($117.54 million).
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi
placed third ($74.11 million), while Senate
Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, with net
assets totaling $11.97 million, slots in at number 32.
In 2012, the Center for Responsive Politics
FOUND that the median congressman was
worth more than one million dollars
HELLO!!!!!
CLOSE THE LOOP HOLES CONGRESS
In an era when it Costs an average of More than
$10 Million to win a seat, it’s no surprise that
the wealthy and well-connected would be
over-represented. Congressional wealth is
noterious and a new phenomenon.
The US has entered into an exclusive contract with a real estate firm to sell 56 buildings that currently house U.S. Post Offices.
ReplyDeleteThe sale of these properties will fetch about $19 billion.
A regular real estate commission will be paid to that company.
That company is CRI
CRI will be making a minimum of 3% and as much as 6% commission on each and every sale.
CRI belongs to a man named Richard Blum.
Richard Blum is the husband of Senator Dianne Feinstein
Senator Feinstein and her husband stand to make a fortune from these transactions. (EST at between $950 million and $1.1 billion!!)
.
How does a U.S. Senator from San Francisco manage to get away with organizing and lobbying such a sweet deal?
Has our government become so elitist that they have no fear of oversight? Isn't this a cousin to insider trading?
Pass this info on before it's pulled from the Internet.
Verified it on Snopes:http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/blum.asp
Would you say that politicians are self-serving or what? If I understand it correctly, they also get paid their salary for life! We should all be so lucky to control money flow and make millions. The term pork barrel applies to our representatives who don't represent us properly and keep getting re-elected!
ReplyDeleteGoodness, you didn't mention Hillary & Bill !!!
ReplyDeleteCorruption X10
GRAFT.
ReplyDeleteand of course payoffs fr lobbyist.
Ha --- that is called "conflict of interest" and that is what happened here in Oregon with the former Governor John Kitzhaber and Cylvia Hayes his girlfriend,,, the news media is running them out of town for until proven guilty - Cylvia Hayes making a profit for her personal business while being part of the great state of Oregon... a very messy situation... influence-peddling accusations that forced Kitzhaber from office last February. They remain under federal investigation to determine whether they illegally profited from their public roles.
ReplyDeleteIt ain't right. It just ain't right.
ReplyDeleteANd.....I have not had internet access, so I missed your last post!
Despise most of them and want them out of office. Yes, they get paid for LIFE...obscene! Harry Reid is a crook, pure and simple, just like the rest of his ilk.
ReplyDeleteMy only consolation is they can't spend it in hell and that's where they're going.
I think the people of our great nation should vote for the salaries and insurance benefits, retirement benefits and any thing else we pay for on each election held then we would see fewer jerks wanting to be elected. You take their ability to cheat the Americans out of money then you would see them heading for the hills. I still am waiting for Hillary to be treated like any other person who has committed the same crimes. Her elect status sucks in my opinion. Face it if you or I had done what she has done, we would be under the jail. That is my opinion and I am sticking to it.
ReplyDeleteDearest Yvonne! Thank you for trying to get the magazine, and yes, many paper magazines are going out of business! Two lovely friends of mine found me a few copies and I have to say, the article is lovely and the photo layout is GREAT. Thank you so much for trying to find it! Anita
