what to do this year
sell or stay?
My Dad's ole saying was,FOOL ME ONCE,
SHAME ON YOU.
FOOL ME TWICE
SHAME ON ME.
I just Move on.
Being so alone I am thinking to
move into a bigger city
with a better Hosp
.Better Shows and events.
I hate to leave, my plot and tombstone are already up.
I guess I'd better stay I have Built everything the way I want it.

I think it's best for you to be near your daughter,in the same city if not in the same neighborhood; but it has to come from her. If she's your only child it's her obligation to see that you're not left alone.
ReplyDeleteThere are people who prefer it to be alone, but as I understand this is not your case.
In Israel there's a category of people who have encouraged their children to emigrate (because of the wars)and now, in old age, they find themselves totally alone. Children come once or twice a year to visit them and that's all. The parents depend on the good will of neighbors in their daily chores.
This is a prayer for all of us.
ReplyDeleteWherever you go make sure Mr. Benny can go too. As the years descend upon us we all must make the choices of where and when. It would really be nice if we could just stay where we are comfortable. I get overwhelmed when I think of moving and getting rid of items that I care about. Each has its own unique history but then again nothing stays the same forever. I wish you peace with your choices and that they come easy for you. Peace
