Made in USA _ where????
I built a home,
Moved in Apr 2005.
since then I have
purchased 3 TV's
Magnavox- Sony - Samsung
Still have 1989 Magnavox Tv
working in Garage.
2 gas Dryers, Magtag- now Hotpoint +$400 to hook up.
3 ranges, Magtag- whirlpool-maytag elec
2 refrigerators Magtag - Hotpoint
2 Microwaves.
I am fed up with buying trash. No one fixes these.
It's a throw away world.
No wonder middle America is broke.
Am I the only one who has had this experience,
it it just bad luck?
Just opened a 4 pack of colored markers none will write?
Enough is enough. Have a better day. yvonne

Go get your money back! Yes, we just bought a new dead bolt lock to put on our door. JUNK! Had to take it back because it wouldn't work. Yes my friend, the days of fine craftsmanship are gone.

ReplyDeletethere is an industry in the USA, making money off of the discards... only in the good ol USA
Wow, Yvonne, I'm so sorry - what a pain! I still have my 1961 Hotpoint stove, so I guess that is a testament to how well things were built back in the day. Everything has computer chips now, and when they malfunction, nobody knows how to fix them. You can still find good quality, but be prepared to pay. I refuse to shop at Walmart or other large dept. stores like that. They force the industries to drive down the cost of goods to their lowest points, so you get nothing but crap and no guarantee. I've had good luck with Sears appliances. At least they will fix them if something goes wrong. x K
ReplyDeletewhen each Administration makes it more profitable to move off shore...that's where the companies go...off shore. so many of us want made in the USA but we're not willing to pay the expensive price. just read where 4 year old children are working in mines for smart phone components...are people willing to give up their smart phones? Nope.
ReplyDeleteI'm to the point where I do what I can do and let God worry about the rest. He's going to be up all night anyway.
