my yard today

what's blooming in July.

Blue Batista or Indigo below Lupine's

Delphiniums

This is Mock Orange
it is breath taking, in full
bloom 3 days ago.

The weird Bell flowers

Yellow Loosestrife is beautiful,
so are the  peonies
I have several kinds

Goats beard

a few Star Gazers lily's the deer didn't eat.
mountain pink
laurel must be from
the rhododendron
family although they have
all bloomed a month ago.
Now my birds are here and well fed.
I have baby woodpeckers so sweet.

This  is back yard in June,
at the back fence is a path to the
shore.I have worked on mulching the path and weed wacking.
Enjoy the Summer
 Renee (Daughter)
is going to take the Canoe out to the islands
they are at the mouth of the cove.  Seals are there.
This morning I woke to the hum of the
motor of the Lobster Boat up the cove.
much more pleasant than fireworks.

  1. Love the flowers. So wish I lived near the coast. In Ky. we have lakes and rivers but just not the same. Have a great week-end Yvonne.
